Twix Bar Cake Shots
Two of my roommates, Rebecca and Tatiana, have their 21st birthdays within a few days of each other. For Rebecca’s birthday I made these Cake Shots inspired by her favorite candy, Twix bars. They are shot glasses filled with a layer of pound cake, milk chocolate hot fudge, chocolate mousse, and caramel, topped with more chocolate mousse and a piece of Twix bar.
Twix Bar Cake Shots
Ingredients:
- Pound Cake (Either make from mix, or use pre-made)
- Sanders Milk Chocolate Hot Fudge
- Sanders Classic Caramel
- Chocolate Mousse (I used a mix, but you could make it from scratch)
- Twix Bars
- Shot glasses
- Mini Spoons
Directions:
- Take each shot glass and cut a circle of cake out of the sheet of pound cake.
- Push cake to the bottom of each shot glass.
- Fill piping bag or plastic bag with Sanders Milk Chocolate Hot Fudge and fill each shot with a layer of hot fudge.
- Do the same as in Step 3 with the chocolate mousse and the Sanders Classic Caramel.
- Top with a swirl of the chocolate mousse.
- Cut Twix bar into small slices, and put one on each shot glass.
- Enjoy using mini spoons (they are necessary)!
Adorable!
